Air Gisborne Ltd is a locally owned and operated business. Andrew and Bronwyn Reid bought Air Gisborne on 1 April 2006 from John and Margaret Reid (Andrews parents).  Air Gisborne is an Air Charter and Flight Training company which also provides scenic flights/aerial photography flights/survey flights and Air Ambulance. 

The company employs 6 Pilots (5 Instructors). John Reid is the Chief Pilot and an ‘A’ Cat Instructor with over 30,000 hours. Warwick Plowman is a ‘B’ Cat Instructor that has done thousands of hours of Instructing and flying time. The rest of the team consist of a ‘B’ Cat instructor and 2 ‘C’ cat instructors.

Air Gisborne’s fleet consists of 2 Piper Seneca II, 1 Cessna 172 & 2 Grumman AA5’s. The Grumman are utilised for most of the companies training.
